Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Marketing/Administrative Assistant. This role is crucial in supporting both the marketing initiatives and administrative functions of BCBS. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of marketing skills, administrative prowess, and a genuine interest in Buddhist studies. Reports to the Communications Manager and works closely with other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Support:
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and print.
- Help maintain BCBS’s digital presence by updating the website, blog, and social media platforms with relevant content.
- Collaborate with the Communications Manager to develop marketing materials such as ads, email promotions, and newsletters.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Administrative Duties:
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files and documents.
- Assist in coordinating logistics for donor events, visits, etc.
- Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing courteous and helpful assistance to visitors, participants, and stakeholders.
- Assist with data entry, database management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in marketing, communications, or administrative roles is advantageous.
- Prior experience in Adobe Suite, Canva, WordPress, Campaign Monitor, and Salesforce is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Genuine interest in Buddhist studies and a willingness to learn and grow in this field.
